24/7 crisis services on a walk-in basis to individuals of all ages needing mental health and/or co-occuring substance use supports.

Community Wellness Response Team (CWRT)

Offers 24/7/365 immediate crisis dispatch & response to individuals of all ages in the community: Home, parks, schools – wherever the person is located. CWRT is initiated through 988.

THE STAY

A 24/7 crisis residential program that is an alternative place for young adults to stay up to 30 days (also known as respite services) and receive onsite support, such as counseling, groups, classes, and treatment by a psychiatrist.

Youth must be referred and be between the ages of 18 to 2​9. See referral forms below:

Youth Help Network

Do you just need help knowing where to go or how to get started? Capital Star's YHN provides triage and navigation services, outreach, engagement and crisis support to Transition Age Youth (TAY) ages 16 through 25 years old. The program also provides supports that are helpful to LGBTQ TAY, TAY experiencing homelessness, TAY served by Child Welfare and Probation, Commercially Sexually Exploited Children/Youth (CSEC), immigrant TAY, and refugee TAY. Services are free and short-term regardless of insurance. YHN's Youth Advocates have personal experience with mental health and other challenges that youth face. Services include health navigation, peer support​, housing resources, job readiness, and more! For questions or to connect to services, please call or text (916) 860-9819. YHN is open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
