The Electronic Health Record (EHR) team provides support, training and billing support for electronic health record program, SmartCare. This EHR is used by Sacramento County Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and BHS Contract providers for both Mental Health (MH) and Substance Use Prevention and Treatment (SUPT).

We are excited to announce we will be transitioning from Medication Management RX to CalMHSA RX (also known as Doctor's First) for Mental Health Outpatient Providers using SmartCare to document and prescribe. This new platform will fully integrate with SmartCare, and—just like Medication Management RX—you will be able to access and launch it directly through your SmartCare account.

CalMHSA will be holding two training session(s) to review the new platform. This training is intended for both prescribers and the designated support staff that were identified by each legal entity. Please register for one of the two sessions listed below:
