The Electronic Health Record (EHR) team provides support, training and billing support for electronic health record program, SmartCare. This EHR is used by Sacramento County Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and BHS Contract providers for both Mental Health (MH) and Substance Use Prevention and Treatment (SUPT).

​Known Issues Spreadsheet

The July MSP has been added to SmartCare as of December 8, 2025. With this update, there are a couple of minor changes to the Medication Management RX screen that we want to bring to the attention of all Prescribers and Prescribing Agents:

• Weight-Based Dosing is now available for clients under 18 years of age.
• When prescribing certain medications, you will notice changes to the available Unit options.
