The Electronic Health Record (EHR) team provides support, training and billing support for electronic health record program, SmartCare. This EHR is used by Sacramento County Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and BHS Contract providers for both Mental Health (MH) and Substance Use Prevention and Treatment (SUPT).

As of April 1, 2026 we are now live with CalMHSA RX. All current prescribers have been sent instructions on how to set up their account. If your prescriber is unable to access CalMHSA RX, or if they have any questions, reach out to BHS-EHRSupport@saccounty.gov.
