Initial Accreditation: If the applicant is applying for accreditation for the first time, the following must be submitted online:
Copy (front and back) of a valid American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider, American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR card or equivalent.
Copy (front and back) of a valid American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) card or equivalent.
NOTE: To attend SCEMSA Paramedic Orientation Course, your application must be completed, all required documents uploaded and fees paid, at https://actonline.saccounty.net by 12:00 pm (NOON) Thursday, the day before orientation, in order to attend the course. Class size is limited to 25 people. Please register early and call the office if you have any issues with the online application process.
Verification of Skills Competency is completed every two years (see SCEMSA skill form).
Copy (front and back) of a valid American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) card or equivalent.
Upload government issued photo identification (i.e. Driver’s license, Passport, or Military ID).
For Initial County Accreditation - Pay cash (exact amount) in the office or pay by credit card online.
For Continuous Accreditation -Pay cash (exact amount) in the office or pay by credit card online.
