In 2020, 607 children under age 13 were killed in motor vehicle crashes, according to Injury Facts.
The Childhood Illness and Injury and Prevention (ChIIP) Program seeks to ensure that children are properly restrained each time they ride in a vehicle.
Our Program Seeks To:
- Educate parents on the importance of using child safety seats properly by referring them to partners for a 1-hour car seat fitting appointment.
- Demonstrate how to install child safety seats properly
