Flu Clinics Offered for Seniors, High-Risk Individuals by Sacramento County

Seasonal flu vaccine protects against H1N1 and two other strains of influenza

SACRAMENTO, CA – The Sacramento County Public Health Immunization Assistance Program is offering community flu clinics at the following times and locations in November and December: 
 
  • From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the Rio Linda United Methodist Church, 6800 6th Street, Rio Linda, CA 95673
  • From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at the Jean Harvie Community Center, 14273 River Road, Walnut Grove, CA 95690
  • From 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at the St. Theresa Church Hall, 100 4th Street, Isleton, CA 95641
  • From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at the Sacramento Association of Realtors, 2003 Howe Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825
Vaccinations will be provided to seniors and high-risk individuals. A $10.00 donation is requested for the seasonal flu shot. Pneumonia shots will be offered for $40.00. Persons with MediCare Part B without HMO coverage may qualify for MediCare billing. You must bring MediCare card to clinic. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.
