The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) unit supports ongoing evaluation, accountability, and system improvement efforts to enhance behavioral health services and outcomes for Sacramento County residents. CQI focuses on data-driven decision-making, compliance, performance monitoring, equity, and collaboration to ensure programs are effective, person-centered, and aligned with State and federal requirements.
Programs and focus areas under CQI include:
- Quality Management (QM): Oversees compliance, audits, corrective action plans, policy development, and quality assurance activities for Mental Health and Substance Use Prevention and Treatment services.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Develops dashboards, trend analysis, performance metrics, and outcome reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Cultural Competence and Ethnic Services (CCES): Promotes culturally responsive and equitable services through community engagement, disparity reduction efforts, language access, and workforce development.
