​Join the Behavioral Health Commission

Applicants should live in the District for which they are applying. Find out which District you live in.

There are three types of seats for community members on the Behavioral Health Commission:

  • ​Consumer: individuals who ​are receiving or have received behavioral health services
  • Family Member: family members of individuals who are receiving or have received behavioral health services​
  • Public Interest:​ individuals who have experience with and knowledge of the behavioral health system​​


The Behavioral Health Commission is brand new, with open seats available for Consumers, Family Members, and Public Interest representatives in all districts.  Apply today!  


If you are interested in serving, please review the Behavioral Health Commission Bylaws and submit a completed application.  Applications may be found at the Sacramento County Boards and Commissions webpage, and submission instructions are included on the application.
