Paramedic Accreditation and Reaccreditation


  • CPR, ACLS, PALS/Handtevy or PEPP courses must have an instructor-led, hands-on classroom skills component for the certification to be considered valid. Certification cards issued for online-only courses with no hands-on skills component will not be accepted. ​​

  • SCEMSA Initial and Accredited Paramedic Personnel

    • ​Requirements to submit proof of current PHTLS/ITLS, course recognition for Paramedic Initial, Recertification or Continuous Accreditation will be temporarily waived for the next 180 days (December 20, 2022)​
