Effective IMMEDIATELY, you must upload proof that you have passed the NREMT cognitive and psychomotor skills to your application.
CPR, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, PHTLS, or Handtevy courses must have an instructor-led, hands-on classroom skills component for the certification to be considered valid. Certification cards issued for online-only courses with no hands-on skills component will not be accepted.
Beginning July 1, 2019, an EMT renewing their certification for the first time shall submit documentation of successful completion on the use of naloxone, and epinephrine by auto-injector and glucometers. Please see additional information HERE.
Effective November 1, 2022, all CE certificates required for renewals shall include all required language as outlined in Title 22, Chapter 11, section 100395 (m) including your CA certification number, or they will be rejected.
