The Sacramento County EMS Agency is a regulatory entity that oversees and coordinates the entire emergency care system, from 911 dispatch through hospital arrival, to ensure effective prehospital care. The agency works with hospitals, fire departments, ambulance providers, law enforcement, and state and public health agencies to manage, evaluate, and continually improve emergency response. Staff ensure responder licensing and training compliance, support quality assurance, and facilitate key committees that shape emergency services policy.
